The area was nice and well presented.
I received no information for my booking. I had to contact the venue a few times with questions. I pre paid for drinks and had to chase for confirmation that payment had been received. The day before I attended to check out the area, I didn’t feel that the staff knew much about the venue hire (I had a feeling it wasn’t hired often). On the day of the event I was made to feel like we shouldn’t have been there. One of the staff approached one of my guests to tell them there had been complaints due to the noise, we had the place from 7pm-10pm so it wasn’t late and we weren’t being overly loud, there was a group of 30 people talking with music playing as we were told we could play our own music. The drinks were extremely expensive, my friend got charged £17 for a tequila and soda. The area is very open and close to the quest check in which when there was guests checking in made the area extremely crowded.
