FAQs about Top Boardrooms in London

Boardroom prices can vary from about £30 per hour all the way up to £500 per hour. (All data according to Tagvenue). The price largely depends on the location of the room, as well as the capacity and general square meterage of the room. Additional equipment may also influence the price of the room.

Most boardroom hires include essentials like high-speed internet, a sound system, and a projector or screen for presentations. Many venues also provide video conferencing tools, a conference phone, whiteboards or flip charts, and an HD monitor or TV. You might also find power outlets or charging stations, basic stationery like pens and notepads, and individual climate control for comfort. Some venues offer on-site tech support or assistance during your booking. Equipment can vary, so if you need something specific, it’s always a good idea to check with the venue manager before finalising your booking.

Not all boardrooms will be in highrises in the city center. There are plenty of less expensive options that are in different areas of the city that are amazing choices as well. Some of our favorite inexpensive boardrooms that come in at £50 an hour or less are Workers League Blackheath, Ideaspace London, and Frequency Angel.

Some boardrooms offer hourly rentals, but some require booking for a full day. Full day sessions will last from 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm. Places that are hired by the hour usually have at least a 4-hour minimum.

Your Guide to Hiring Boardrooms in London

Why London Is Perfect for Boardroom Meetings

London offers thousands of boardrooms for hire, making now the perfect time to find a space that suits your event. Whether you’re running a meeting, a conference, interviews, or collaborative sessions between businesses, a boardroom offers a professional and structured setting.

Make the Most of Your Meeting

When hosting your meeting, having clear intentions and a plan for the day is essential. Boardrooms typically come with a single long table, creating an ideal environment for:

  • discussion and peer collaboration
  • brainstorming sessions
  • formal presentations

These spaces are best suited for smaller groups, so keep things focused with just the necessary attendees. Staying organised with a timetable, agendas, or presentation outlines can help keep things on track. Be sure to build in time for questions and open discussion to make sure everyone is aligned.

Equipment and Setup Matter

Meetings are an essential part of business—big or small. Luckily, boardrooms often come equipped with everything you need to make them productive. Most venues list the equipment available, such as:

  • high-speed internet
  • projectors
  • sound systems

These are vital tools to help your ideas flow smoothly and ensure your voice gets across the room.

More Than Just Meetings

Boardrooms go far beyond basic meetings. They’re perfect for seminars, strategy sessions, workshops, and more. London’s rich business history and vibrant culture make it the perfect place to connect, grow your idea, and build a strong team. And with Tagvenue, you’re never far from finding that perfect boardroom.

Popular Uses of Boardrooms

Hosting Workshops or Seminars

Boardrooms are also excellent spaces for hosting workshops and training seminars. These can take many forms—breakfast meetings, guest speaker sessions, or even informal team-building activities. A good workshop keeps everyone interested while building camaraderie and offering fresh insights from experts in your field.

Boardrooms for Focus Groups

Thanks to their calm, neutral atmosphere, boardrooms also work well for focus groups. These sessions are a valuable part of product development and market research. The intimate setup of a boardroom encourages participants to speak openly, offering honest feedback that can reveal both the strengths and potential pitfalls of your product.

Booked The Feather's Lounge at The Prince of Wales Feathers
5.0
The Feather's Lounge worked well for our board away - it was a larger room than many of the board rooms we had considered in more corporate buildings, and was a nice central location right by Warren St tube, with daylight. The buffet lunch was particularly impressive - a good variety of food catering to the range of dietary preferences in our group, and in generous proportions. The staff were really helpful and friendly despite being busy juggling with other walk-up customers.

Light, comfortable and airy room with air conditioning. Good lighting and expected facilities. We were allocated a different room than the booked room but we were very happy with the facilities.

We adored the location and the venue was light, bright and perfectly sized for our meeting. The staff were attentive, helpful and could not do enough for us and the catering, which included not only teas and coffees but also food and alcoholic beverages, was amazing!

Booked Seminar Room at The Black Penny
3.8
The coffee and food were great, the room is very nice and full of character and perfect for what we wanted. Cozy, comfortable and informal. When I arrived to set up there was a cold reception and a sense that I was a bit too early for them - but after that they sent me downstairs and I got everything ready. Then the service was great - friendly and efficient. It's basically a cool coffee bar with a room in the basement so it's not set up for anything too formal - but the price reflects that.

Booked Small Vault at Tuttons Brasserie Private Dining
4.4
The venue is exactly as shown in the photos, easy to find and the space is comfortable both in lay out and temperature. The service staff are very friendly and were always available and happy to help. As for value for money, we were on a tight budget and to find a location that can provide that level of service for £500 in Central London is incredible. Catering: Well varied fillings for sandwiches, and it was nice to have a selection of breads used. Coffee was lovely and well received.

Good facilities and very professional and helpful staff. The location is great for travel routes into Euston, St Pancras and Kings Cross. Due to staff sickness on our team, we had failed to confirm the catering but the venue came through for us and sorted it out. Would use RocketSpace Meetings again.
