About Harrington Street Gallery

Harrington Street Gallery has been part of Chippendale’s art scene for around forty years, just near Central Park in the old Strickland Building.
It’s a good fit for smaller events. There are three exhibition rooms on the ground floor, usually set up with paintings, and they work well for groups of about 40 to 50 people. The space suits both relaxed gatherings and more structured ones without feeling too formal.
There’s a small kitchen if you want to put out drinks or light refreshments, and the artwork in the background gives people something to chat around without getting in the way.
In terms of timing, the gallery is available during the day on Mondays, and most evenings through the week. Over the December and January break, you can book it during the day as well.
