Located within the University of Sydney, the Drawing Room is a warm and elegant space perfect for small-scale events with a personal touch. With its inviting ambience and heritage features, it’s an ideal setting for cocktail receptions, private dinners, workshops, or networking events.
The room comfortably accommodates up to 56 guests cabaret-style or 120 for a cocktail-style function. Whether you're planning an elegant seated dinner or a relaxed lounge-style gathering, the Drawing Room offers flexibility and style in equal measure.

Helium balloons, glitter, confetti, rice, any sort of smoke machine (our smoke detector is very sensitive but dry ice shouldn't be a problem), naked flame (such as candles or fire displays) and sand is not permitted in the building.
General equipment and decorations should include free-standing furniture and banners only, nothing is to be fixed to the walls or surfaces.
External or self-catering is not permitted on our premises.
