About this space

The studio occupies an open, high-ceilinged Art Deco auditorium with polished timber floors and tall sash windows that supply abundant daylight. Heavy black drapes and textured feature walls provide controllable contrast and varied surface finishes.

Room features: On-site lighting and photographic equipment plus a selection of coloured backdrops and a greenscreen allow controlled lighting setups and chroma compositing. A lit makeup vanity, PA system and Wi‑Fi support client prep and on-set playback.

Best for: The space is best for commercial and editorial photography, headshots, fashion shoots and studio video production.

Jason is awesome! The space is perfect and pretty solid for videos. Not 100% sound proof but very decent for interviews. The facilities were awesome!!

I loved this history and the beautiful architecture of the building - the studio has so much character! Jason and Andrew were wonderful to work with and everything was easy. They were great communicators and it was a seamless, enjoyable process. I will definitely utilise this studio again - it was a great experience, and right in the CBD too. Super convenient.

FAQ

Yes, the venue has standard tables in a couple of sizes, along with background paper on background stands to create a seamless background.

The studio has several Elinchrom monoblock studio flash units, along with numerous light shapers, large and small softboxes, snoots, umbrellas and strips. Video lighting is not available.
