About this space

The Basement, a Basement in Chuck Trailer's CBD, is an intimate, low-lit subterranean bar space defined by a compact, social layout.

Design: The Basement has low ceilings, exposed ducting and concrete flooring. The room pairs timber high-top tables and metal stools with neon signage and candle lighting for a compact, dim interior.

Features: The room contains a service bar along the rear and a mix of high-top tables and movable stools that allow an open central area. In-room speakers and a PA system are installed, and the space permits guest playlists or a brought DJ.

Ideal for: Groups seeking an informal, music-friendly evening that mixes standing socialising and casual seated dining.

What guests say: The Basement hosts regular live-music nights and late-night service, and the space maintains a lively, youthful atmosphere.
