Zushi Surry Hills gives you exclusive use of the whole restaurant — perfect if you’re planning a larger celebration or want total privacy for your group. The space accommodates up to around 120 guests, with access to the venue‑wide audio system so you can set the vibe with your own music or playlists throughout the event.
Hiring the entire venue means you and your guests can enjoy the full modern Japanese setting, including indoor dining areas, mezzanine level, and outdoor courtyard, all in one stylish Sydney location. This option is ideal for birthdays, corporate functions, wedding receptions, and milestone celebrations, letting you take over the whole space for a memorable occasion.

Groups of 10 or more are required to dine on a tasting menu. A 10% service charge applies to large group bookings.

• No BYO food or beverages (celebration cakes are welcome).
• Decorations such as balloons and table decorations are welcome. Confetti, glitter and open flames are not permitted.
• Outside entertainment, DJs and speakers require prior approval.
• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• We kindly ask guests to respect neighbouring businesses and keep noise to a reasonable level when entering and leaving the venue.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) applies. Management reserves the right to refuse service to intoxicated guests.
• Any damage caused to the venue or its property may incur repair or replacement costs.
• Pets are welcome in our outdoor dining areas.
