Had a leaving party in the upstairs room that holds up to 50. It worked perfectly as a space for an small gathering with friendly bar staff throughout. A central location, just a short walk from the nearest tram stop, meant people found it easily. Many thanks to the Town Hall Tavern for hosting us!
This was our xmas party, it could've turned out to be a disaster with many dropping out due to the train strikes. But the venue was perfect, the young lad on the bar was brilliant all night. Very friendly and had a good chat with a few of our guests. When his shift finished and another lad took over he was equally a delight. Will definitely book again next year... this time with quite a few more of us I hope!

Had a great time here. We had our own bar upstairs with one member of staff. The kitchen had closed so they let us order food in from outside. Things I shall note for next time. - Make everyone aware that the party is upstairs as a few people bought drinks from downstairs prior to coming up which meant the minimum spend wast meant and I lost the deposit

The Town Hall Tavern is a small, quaint, traditional pub round the back of the impressive Manchester Town Hall.
Our event space is equipped with a private bar, AV/sound system along with plenty of seating and standing space for you and your guests. You're more than welcome to play your own music into the space or have ours protected through the speakers.
