Sparks Bristol is a dynamic venue located in the heart of Broadmead, Bristol, within the repurposed former M&S building. It serves as an art and sustainability hub, brought to life through a collaboration between Artspace Lifespace and the Global Goals Centre. Sparks Bristol aims to inspire a greener, fairer, and more creative future by providing a space where visitors can shop, recycle, and engage in various creative and educational activities.
The venue is organized into different departments, each offering unique spaces for hire. The Department of Imagination, located on the first floor, features creative spaces suitable for performances, exhibitions, workshops, and events. This area can accommodate up to 300 people in a theater-style setup or 200 in a banquet-style arrangement. The space can be divided into two smaller sections if needed and is equipped with technical amenities such as projectors, audio speakers, and microphones.
