About The Old Market Assembly

Everyone’s favourite venue in Old Market, The Old Market Assembly has been open since 2015. Now an area buzzing with life, from cafes and bars to shops and offices we are proud to be part of the local community. With delicious food, great Bristol booze and the best in late-night entertainment, we fly our flags with pride.

Our handsome building at 25 West Street houses our award-winning restaurant, a state-of-the-art stage and sound system for music and performance events, a sun-drenched roof terrace, and The Wardrobe Theatre showing original, fringe theatre, at the back of the venue.

A zero-tolerance venue, everyone is welcome at Old Market Assembly. We aim to create a safe space for people to come together, celebrate and relax. A cosy snug, a grand mezzanine, a stunning, sunny roof terrace or the whole venue. Most of The Old Market Assembly can be hired for special occasions. From birthdays to wedding receptions, we can provide a full-service event production including catering, staff and entertainment.

Our ethos is underpinned by our commitment to Sustainable, Ethical, Local and Fair values. Since our inception, we’ve worked hard to bring quality values across the business. From the great suppliers we work with to the food we serve and the booze you drink.
