Hemingway Room is a Lounge in Novela, a literary-themed private lounge framed around intimate sofa seating and low tables.
Design: The room has deep buttoned leather sofas and ottomans grouped around coffee-height tables for small clusters. Floor-to-ceiling windows, dark timber floors and brass lamps create a contained interior with subdued, natural light.
Features: A PA system and speakers provide in-room audio for music or announcements. Wi-Fi and air conditioning are available throughout the space. Natural light is present alongside movable low tables and seating, and the room is wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets nearby.
Ideal for: Friends or small work teams seeking a relaxed, conversational lounge for seated socialising or a standing drinks reception.
What sets it apart: A dedicated drinks programme features cocktails named after fictional characters and punch served on tap for consistent, easy service.
What guests say: The space has a lively, sociable atmosphere and attentive, helpful staff who support a smooth private hire experience.
No smoking in the building.
Outside caterers are welcome with an additional fee.
