Located inside Gold Bar Distillery on Treasure Island, our Art Deco-inspired Tasting Room is a one-of-a-kind private event space housed within San Francisco's historic former Pan Am Airport terminal, originally built in the late 1930s.
Designed as a tribute to the elegance and glamour of a 1930s jazz lounge, the Tasting Room combines historic character with an operating distillery, full-service bar, food offerings, comfortable event space, and spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay.
The space is ideal for corporate gatherings, team-building events, birthdays, celebrations, receptions, cocktail parties, and other private events. Guests can enjoy handcrafted Gold Bar Whiskey and Pacific House Gin cocktails, local beer and wine, and food inspired by the history and international influences of Treasure Island.
Private groups can also add interactive experiences including our signature hands-on Cocktail Class, guided whiskey tastings, barrel pulls, and personalized bottle engraving. Our Cocktail Class includes three full-size cocktails crafted alongside an instructor plus a guided spirit tasting, making it especially popular for corporate and team-building groups.
Located just minutes from downtown San Francisco, Gold Bar is accessible by a scenic six-minute ferry ride, car, and public transit, with free on-site parking available.

• No smoking or vaping inside the building. Smoking is permitted outdoors at least 20 feet from building entrances.
• Alcohol may only be consumed within designated bar and event areas and must remain within areas permitted for alcohol service.
• Alcohol service is provided and managed by Gold Bar staff. Outside alcohol is not permitted unless approved in advance.
• Guests must be 21+ to consume alcoholic beverages, and valid identification may be required.
• Decorations, outside vendors, entertainment, and significant changes to the space must be approved in advance by the Gold Bar events team.
• Nothing may be attached to walls, fixtures, or other venue surfaces in a way that could cause damage.
• Open flames, pyrotechnics, and hazardous materials are not permitted without prior approval.
• Guests and vendors are responsible for respecting the venue, furnishings, equipment, and surrounding property. Damage beyond normal wear may result in additional charges.
• Event setup, breakdown, load-in, load-out, and access requirements should be coordinated with the Gold Bar events team in advance.
• Additional event-specific requirements may apply depending on guest count, event format, vendors, entertainment, and alcohol service.
