About this space

BATL Grounds Scottsdale is an indoor axe-throwing bar and activity center focused on participatory target sports and informal social play.

Design: The venue presents a pared-back, industrial interior with high ceilings, exposed ducting and chain-link partitions that divide the long lanes. Black-painted walls, wooden target boards and practical, focused lighting create a sporty, utilitarian look.

Features: The venue contains multiple purpose-built throwing lanes separated by protective barriers and a raised counter for spectators. The venue provides trained coaches who run instruction and supervised play, a licensed bar, pool tables and a PA system, plus on-site Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The venue includes wheelchair access, a step-free entrance and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Groups of friends and colleagues seeking an active, informal evening of coached, participatory entertainment and casual socializing.

What sets it apart: A tournament-style digital scoring system displays results on overhead screens to support competitive, structured play across multiple lanes.

What guests say: The venue provides patient, hands-on instruction that helps first-timers gain confidence at the lanes. The venue maintains a lively, welcoming atmosphere supported by friendly bar and floor staff.
