About this space

Handlebar J is a pub defined by a timber‑floored, open interior and eclectic decorative details that give it a casual, social character.

Design: The interior features polished wooden floors, exposed ceiling beams hung with hats, and festoon string lighting that creates a compact pub layout. The space combines high tables and leatherette booth seating against warm timber finishes.

Features: The venue provides Wi‑Fi and air conditioning plus step‑free access and accessible toilets. The layout includes long communal tables, high stools and freestanding furniture that can be rearranged to suit standing or seated formats. The venue permits guest music and includes a clear open area suitable for dancing or socialising.

Ideal for: Music‑oriented groups seeking a relaxed, social format that can flex between standing reception and informal seated arrangements.

What sets it apart: A raised performance stage fitted with a dedicated PA and lighting rig that supports live music and amplified sets.
