About this space

A low, cave-like room with dark painted walls and a concrete floor that reads as an enclosed, intimate production space. Broad, even overhead illumination produces minimal shadows and a flat, controllable visual field.

Room features: Built-in PA speakers enable on-set playback and client monitoring, and in-room Wi‑Fi supports tethered shooting and file transfers. Natural light is available and the studio enforces a noise restriction to preserve audio quality.

Best for: Editorial and fashion photography, music videos and portrait sessions that benefit from a contained, visually uniform studio environment.

What sets it apart: An RGB-coloured ceiling built into the room provides a distinctive ambient backdrop.

All overnight bookings that go beyond 11 PM, bookings with more than 20 attendees, bookings involving hard to clean materials such as glitter, body oil, fake blood, and similar substances, or at the discretion of the host, may require a refundable security deposit of $525, collected in advance. The deposit is fully refunded after the booking, provided the studio is returned in good condition with no outstanding charges. Any damages, booking extensions, additional services, rentals, or rule violations will be deducted from the deposit.

The amount of space available to shoot in was so very nice. We were about a 20 person cast and crew and everyone felt relaxed in the studio. The hair and makeup / wardrobe room was a nice touch that made things easier for our 9 person cast. A huge fan was provided to keep things cool for us as we filmed. The RGB ceiling did most of the work for lighting our set. It was a huge help. The 'look' of the place was perfect for our film.

Only small things were kind of irritating to deal with. The set was not soundproof and echoey BUT we were warned of this ahead of time. The street parking was hard to find for our 20 person group, not something that Yukon can really fix, but just something to keep in mind for larger productions.
