A low, cave-like room with dark painted walls and a concrete floor that reads as an enclosed, intimate production space. Broad, even overhead illumination produces minimal shadows and a flat, controllable visual field.

The amount of space available to shoot in was so very nice. We were about a 20 person cast and crew and everyone felt relaxed in the studio. The hair and makeup / wardrobe room was a nice touch that made things easier for our 9 person cast. A huge fan was provided to keep things cool for us as we filmed. The RGB ceiling did most of the work for lighting our set. It was a huge help. The 'look' of the place was perfect for our film.
Only small things were kind of irritating to deal with. The set was not soundproof and echoey BUT we were warned of this ahead of time. The street parking was hard to find for our 20 person group, not something that Yukon can really fix, but just something to keep in mind for larger productions.

The RGB ceiling lights are controlled using the wall panel by the mirror. Once a booking is confirmed, video instructions on operating the lighting system are provided.
