About this space

Sawyer's Playhouse is a Theatre in LACAE Theater, a compact black-box space centred on a small raised performance area.

Design: The room has a rectangular plan with a short raised stage, hardwood flooring, dark stage curtains and simple, practical finishes; the proportions feel intimate and performance-focused.

Features: Sawyer's Playhouse includes a PA system and speakers, Wi‑Fi and air conditioning. The space allows own music or a brought DJ and provides basic AV connections for sound and microphones. A noise restriction applies.

Ideal for: Small creative ensembles and community groups needing an intimate, performance-focused setting for seated presentations or relaxed standing receptions.

What sets it apart: A direct source of natural daylight to the stage increases flexibility for daytime uses.
