About this space

Main Stage is a Theatre in LACAE Theater and an intimate black‑box performance space centred on a dedicated raised stage.

Design: The interior presents a functional black‑box aesthetic, with black curtains, dark-painted walls and an exposed lighting grid above the stage. The stage meets a scuffed timber fore-stage, producing close sightlines between performers and audience.

Features: The stage is fitted with a house PA system and speakers alongside basic theatre lighting controls. The space also includes Wi‑Fi, air conditioning, a step‑free guest entrance and wheelchair access. The hire permits bringing your own DJ and playing own music subject to the venue's noise restrictions.

Ideal for: Independent theatre companies and community groups seeking an intimate, primarily seated performance or rehearsal space.
