About this space

The bright glass atrium connects the old and the new buildings of Manchester Art Gallery, creating an impressive contemporary space filled with light. After hours, the Atrium transforms to become an exciting event space, well-suited to hosting corporate dinners and presentations for up to 120 guests as well as standing receptions and parties for up to 200. Plus, with two large, ceiling flown plasma screens and an integrated PA system, the Atrium is ideal for panel events, presentations, and award ceremonies.

It features plenty of natural light and a flexible room layout which can be configured in a variety of ways.

We loved the space and the staff were so accommodating to our needs! Debbie was a star and she really helped us sort everything we needed! We had just the right amount of space we needed with additional space for teas and coffees in the foyer. Thanks so much for having us!

FAQ

The venue does not have any sound equipment, but four 1m-square stage pieces and uplighters are available free of charge; a mirror ball and dancefloor are chargeable. The Atrium has a PA system with two handheld microphones, and the venue provides the bar, staffing and poseur tables, while organisers handle ticketing and guest arrival; security is provided at the gallery’s main entrance.

Yes, the venue can contact one of its preferred suppliers to obtain a quote for a DJ.
