The venue is 15 minutes from the city centre and easily to get to by car, bike or bus.

Large room ideal for training, teaching, classes and workshops. The room can be set up with large workbenches and stools or fold out tables and chairs.

Break out space in reception, with facilities for refreshments, this includes a microwave and fridge - ideal for lunches. You can also source external catering.

On street parking available and plenty of space to lock up your bike too. The space is wheelchair accessible.

Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct will be strictly enforced for every person who accesses/uses Boiler House facilities and activities, at all times.

1. No form of abuse, neglect, violence, anti-social behaviour or infringements of the rights of others will be tolerated.
2. Alcohol and drugs are not prohibited in the Boiler House and any person entering the centre showing signs of having taken alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave immediately.
3. Every user has a responsibility for health and safety, ensuring rules laid out by instructors and centre staff are kept to at all times by all members. Users of the centre must follow instructions in relation to safe use of tools and equipment. Repeated misuse of tools and non-adherence to health and safety rules will lead to users being asked to leave the premises.
4. Users of the Boiler House will respect the confidentiality of all individuals, whether present or not, and refrain from mentioning specific information which may cause embarrassment of any member, unless given their consent.
5. Users must accept that the centre exists for the benefit of all of its members, irrespective of religion, political views, nationality, disability, age or race.
6. Users shall treat each other with fairness and consideration, showing regard for people’s feelings and respect for their contribution. No rude or offensive behaviour will be tolerated, this is a friendly centre.
7. Community centres work best when users work as a team. Every person should take responsibility for helping and supporting each other.
8. Differences can sometimes get personal or be hard to resolve for other reasons. Users should be prepared to recognise when this is happening. They should be ready to find fair ways of cooling things down through mediation or team building sessions, for the benefit of everybody.
9. No member of Sow the City shall use their position of power for personal gain or wrongful treatment of others.
