Great communication from Alice, answered any questions and let me come for a second viewing. Really easy to set up and we brought our own decks. The venue was lovely, just what we needed, with a good soundsystem. Helpful bar staff and were happy for us to come back the next day and collect our things so didn't have to worry on the night. I had 50 guests and it felt like a really good size still. Would definitely hire again, great value for money.
Needed to go to the main bar for any draught beer but wasn't too much of a hassle!

Great place for a birthday party, the bar was a good size for around 50-70 people. I brought in a DJ and the sound system was good, had no problem setting up. The bar staff were nice. Alice who helped organise was very helpful and responsive. We ordered food on the evening with no issues and it was very tasty. Overall a really good night!
Not a big deal in the end, but our private bar was quite small so often the main bar was far better stocked and less busy so people went there a lot. However it wasn't made clear that only the spend at the private bar counted towards the minimum spend for hiring the room. Didn't matter in the end as we cleared the minimum spend easily but could have been a problem if not.
