Staff behind the bar were so lovely and communication before the event was excellent

The staff at the venue (especially Abbie, Pete and the DJ Ryan) were incredibly helpful and friendly. The venue itself was perfect for a party. Well set out. And Abbie was so hands on, making sure everything was catered to on the night. Reasonable drinks and fantastic entertainment.

Unfortunately the communication was horrendous. Not one clear communication channel. Two different numbers and emails messaging me rather than sticking to here. I had no idea who I was talking to and requested a few times to just stick to one form of communication as it was getting very confusing. Turned up at the venue and the staff had no details of the play list (despite it being asked for (and sent) via two different WhatsApp numbers from the company. Confusion over what I'd booked so I had to reconfirm. I had to let the staff on the day know the schedule. No signal at the venue to resend the playlist. Plus I had a text from someone called Linda requesting me to pay extra for door staff after 11pm. Different hire fees/numbers given. Two messages/emails over paying for a decorations that I'd never asked for. And when I asked for a contract number for the venue on the day, I was told No and that the staff would be there (don't think they were even expecting us, despite confirming everything twice with two different WhatsApp numbers). The unclear communication made it really tiresome. Thankfully the staff at the venue were fabulous though.

Fabulous venue, party ready! Reasonably priced drinks, very helpful staff members on duty. Thanks to Jeff behind the bar and David who were super helpful

Toilet roll was missing before party started and needed topping up through the party, but when mentioned to staff was replaced.
