Design: The venue presents exposed brick walls, a concrete floor and bold, industrial seating painted in primary colours. Festoon lighting, potted palms and simple, unfussy proportions give the space a casual, utilitarian look.
Features: The venue's sound setup includes a PA system and allows outside DJs and guest music subject to a noise restriction. Fixed long communal tables and metal bench seating surround a clear central area that functions as a dancefloor. Step-free guest entrance, wheelchair access and accessible toilets are provided.

North of Nowhere — Booking Guidelines
To keep the space running smoothly and looking its best for everyone, we ask all guests to follow the simple guidelines below when booking the venue.
1. Deposits & Cancellations
Bookings are secured with a non-refundable deposit.
Date changes may be possible with reasonable notice and subject to availability.
Cancellations made close to the event date may be charged in full — please give as much notice as possible if plans change.
2. Respect the Space
North of Nowhere is an independent venue — please treat it with care and respect.
Any damage to furniture, games equipment, shelters, sound system, or décor (including disco balls) may be chargeable to the booking holder.
Decorations are welcome but must not damage structures or finishes (no drilling, permanent fixings, or confetti without prior agreement).
3. Noise & Sound
All music must run through the in-house sound system.
External DJs or playlists are welcome by prior arrangement.
We ask guests to respect any agreed sound limits and finish times.
4. Capacity & Safety
Guest numbers must stay within the agreed capacity for your booking.
Walkways, exits, and service areas must remain clear at all times.
Children must be supervised where applicable, especially around games equipment.
5. Food & Drink
All drinks must be purchased through the venue unless otherwise agreed in advance.
External catering or cakes are welcome by arrangement.
6. Weather & Outdoor Nature
North of Nowhere is an outdoor venue with covered areas. Please advise guests to dress appropriately for the weather.
7. Good Vibes Policy
We’re here for great times. We reserve the right to refuse service or end events where behaviour is unsafe, aggressive, or disrespectful to staff, neighbours, or the space.
