About Cardinal Restaurant
Cardinal’s a small place on Eyre Place that doesn’t shout for attention—and doesn’t need to. The menu changes depending on what’s fresh and what local folk have brought in, so things always feel alive and in season.
Inside, it’s moody and pared back: a few tables, bold bits of Scottish art, big street-facing windows. It’s the sort of spot that invites you to slow down and really focus on the food and the company. Kind of like dinner at a mate’s flat—if your mate knew their way round a kitchen blindfolded.
