About this space

The Great Eastern Hall is a hall in the SS Great Britain defined by its high‑ceilinged interior.

Design: The hall presents a clean, industrial aesthetic with white‑painted vaulted ceilings, exposed services, clerestory windows and a polished concrete floor that keep sightlines open.

Features: The hall is equipped with a PA system, two large projection screens and a lectern for presentations. The hall allows hosts to play their own music and provides step‑free guest access, wheelchair‑accessible routes and accessible toilets. The open floor can be arranged for seated layouts, theatre-style presentations or standing receptions.

Ideal for: Community groups and professional networks seeking a practical, adaptable space for seated presentations, dinners or standing receptions with an informal tone.
