The Opium Bar is located in the Little Portugal area. The bar's space is set up with dim, purple lighting and hanging lanterns to replicate the ambiance of the surreptitious Chinese opium dens from the 19th century.
It has a tendency to fill up on the weekend and is a great spot for a cool, yet low-key weekday dinner.

Great venue for a party, affordable/ reasonable minimum spend, and I like that it didn't have to go on one bill. I ordered snacks to go toward the minimum spend, and they were excellent. Great responsiveness from the owner, Michael, and excellent service.

Our venue specializes in small to medium-sized gatherings. We are very well experienced in birthday parties, pre wedding parties, corporate events and etc.
We welcome full buyouts as well as semi-private events based on the number of guests.
Our bar is known for creative Asian-inspired cocktails that often infuse one or more Asian ingredients to create delicious twists from classic cocktails. On the shelf, we also offer a wide variety of Japanese whiskey, bourbon, gin, and much more. Do not hesitate to ask our experienced bartender to freestyle a cocktail for you!
Our kitchen specializes in all varieties of Asian street snacks! The black opium fried chicken is a crowd favorite and pairs nicely with Opium's namesake signature cocktail, one of just 12 in-house cocktails made to harmoniously accompany the food.
