About this space

The Lounge is a semi-private event space in Reid's Distillery centred on a large curved tiled bar that organises the room.

Design: The space pairs industrial structure and contemporary finishes: high ceilings, painted steel columns, polished dark floors, jewel-toned upholstered seating and warm pendant lights spread across an open plan.

Features: An installed PA system and speakers and venue Wi‑Fi support music and presentations. The layout includes a defined dance area and flexible seating, and own music or an external DJ is permitted within noise limits. The area has air conditioning, step‑free access and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a relaxed, social standing reception or an informal seated gathering that benefits from an open-plan layout and room for music and mingling.

What sets it apart: A full-height glazed partition provides a clear view into the adjacent distillery floor, giving the space an industrial backdrop.

What guests say: The lounge is beautiful and is regarded as more distinctive than a traditional event space.
