About this space
The East Side Studio is a contemporary photo and event space featuring a distinctive monochromatic design with polished concrete finishes, textured walls, light oak herringbone flooring, exposed metal trusses and a striking oversized cement arch. Two south-facing factory windows flood the studio with natural light, while motorised light-diffusing and blackout blinds allow complete control of the space.
Designed for flexibility, the studio includes a moveable 9 ft x 9 ft white cyclorama wall that can be repositioned during the day or removed entirely for events. Velvet curtains in indigo, mauve and grey-blue provide additional styling options, and the cyclorama can be freshly painted for productions upon request.
The space is ideal for photo shoots, video productions, content creation, commercial projects, brand activations, workshops, product launches, pop-up events, private celebrations and intimate wedding ceremonies. A folding partition also allows the East Side Studio to connect with the West Side Studio, creating almost 2,000 sq ft of event and production space for larger gatherings.
Prices
- We provide a selection of seamless paper backdrops in different colours at a cost of $28.25/rental. We also have beautifully painted muslin backdrops at a cost of $56.50/rental.
- Backdrop stands are complimentary with your rental.
- We provide a Newborn Set with various items at a cost of $50.85/rental. This is perfect for long shoots and mini-sessions.
- Newborn Set includes – Posing bed, 2 weighted wicker baskets, 3 blankets for posing on, 3 posing pillows in various sizes, and small-sized clamps to keep everything secure.

• Smoking on premises not allowed.
• Please help us keep our light carpets looking clean and fresh by wearing indoor shoes.
• Our reception staff will visit the studio room 10 minutes prior to the end of your booking time to ensure that the room is left in its original condition.
• If you need to move furniture, please lift the items and do not drag them.
• Please do not bring candles into the studio, unless they have glass coverings.
• Please do not use any dyes in the Sanctuary bathtub. Should there be, any stains found after your booking a $50-100 cleaning fee will be added to your booking.
• Floors/furniture need to be covered if you are doing a cake smash at the studio.
• No open flame, dry ice, sparkers or smoke machines are allowed at the studio.
• Please book an additional hour if you are bringing confetti, fake snow, or feathers into the studio space so that our team has sufficient time to vacuum the floors before the next booking.
• If there are damages to the floor/furniture/props / V Flats, or any other studio equipment, including extension cords during your booking, you will be asked to reimburse the cost of the damages.
• The broken furniture leg damage fee is $200, floor damage and deep scratches can range from $100-500 depending on the extent of the damage, and furniture damage is subject to a $100-500 damage fee.
Cancellation policy: Standard 60 day with Grace Period
