About this space
Preto Loft is a versatile loft venue in downtown Toronto, bringing together the East Side Studio, West Side Studio, and Solarium within one flexible event space. The East Side Studio features an oversized standing cement arch, an all-grey palette, and original industrial loft windows. The West Side Studio offers a lighter aesthetic with a statement limewash arch, modern furnishings, and light oak herringbone floors inspired by New York lofts. The Solarium completes the venue with white floors, a staircase, and a natural-toned fresco wall framed by floor-length curtains.
Ideal for workshops, intimate weddings, private celebrations, product launches, media events, brand activations, photo and video shoots, the venue comfortably accommodates up to 100 guests. A dedicated service kitchen allows catering to operate separately from the event spaces, while three velvet-curtained changing rooms and a three-seat hair and makeup station provide added convenience for productions and events.
Combining authentic industrial character with contemporary finishes, Preto Loft offers a flexible setting for both creative productions and special occasions.

- We provide a Newborn Set with various items at a cost of $50.85/rental. This is perfect for long shoots and mini-sessions.
- Newborn Set includes – Posing bed, 2 weighted wicker baskets, 3 blankets for posing on, 3 posing pillows in various sizes, and small-sized clamps to keep everything secure.

• Smoking on premises not allowed.
• Please help us keep our light carpets looking clean and fresh by wearing indoor shoes.
• Our reception staff will visit the studio room 10 minutes prior to the end of your booking time to ensure that the room is left in its original condition.
• If you need to move furniture, please lift the items and do not drag them.
• Please do not bring candles into the studio, unless they have glass coverings.
• Please do not use any dyes in the Sanctuary bathtub. Should there be, any stains found after your booking a $50-100 cleaning fee will be added to your booking.
• Floors/furniture need to be covered if you are doing a cake smash at the studio.
• No open flame, dry ice, sparkers or smoke machines are allowed at the studio.
• Please book an additional hour if you are bringing confetti, fake snow, or feathers into the studio space so that our team has sufficient time to vacuum the floors before the next booking.
• If there are damages to the floor/furniture/props / V Flats, or any other studio equipment, including extension cords during your booking, you will be asked to reimburse the cost of the damages.
• The broken furniture leg damage fee is $200, floor damage and deep scratches can range from $100-500 depending on the extent of the damage, and furniture damage is subject to a $100-500 damage fee.
Cancellation policy: Standard 60 day with Grace Period
