Couldn’t recommend more, was easy to book the bar with £100 deposit which was refunded after the event for meeting minimum spend
Possibly need more signs to show where private party is and more prevention of strangers walking in as had a number of strangers walk into party and eat the cake we had got as well as one woman place her hand into the cake and grab some cake which is obviously rather unsanitary and not acceptable given she was also a stranger. We thankfully removed the cake and placed it behind the bar so only our guests had the ability to have the cake.
An absolutely amazing venue with an even more amazing events team running it. The venue already has an amazing vibe to it making ready to go as is, but also has lots of space and flexibilty to it which enables us to make the space our own. Lots of screens and a projector available which was so useful to have and games which guests could use. Bar had everything we needed and food was incredible. A great venue, would definitely use it again!
We throughly enjoyed our private birthday event at The Shack. The whole team were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. No request was too much.
The only improvement we could think of would be better signage to indicate a private event, as the venue is in a prime high street location to avoid others attempting access.
Perfect venue, from booking and organising we could not have been better looked after every step of the way. Every member of staff went above and beyond throughout and on the day – the most amazing people on the day, never stopped and were proactively making the event the best it could be, genuinely blown away by everyone involved.

Found on High Street, The Shack spans over two floors and three rooms.
Our Main Bar features booth seating with private television screens, showing all live sport and is also home to our popular Disco Brunch!
Head downstairs and you'll find both our Basement and Event Space, both equipped with a private bar and a fully operating AV and sound system with the added bonus of access to games including: Beer Pong, Ping Pong, Darts and Pool!
Whether it be a birthday celebration, networking event, corporate or Christmas party, our venue is the perfect spot to hold your event.

Cancellations 30 days in advance will receive a full refund.
Cancellations 30 days to 7 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations for events starting within 7 days are non-refundable.
Event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 1 months from the original date, at no cost.
