About hmv Empire

hmv Empire is a Tagvenue Partner. This business has registered with Tagvenue and agreed to our venue partner standards.

hmv Empire is a live music venue built around a purpose-built standing performance floor.

Venue highlights: The venue offers several bar areas and an upstairs terrace that can be included in private hires. A fixed stage and on-site technical infrastructure accommodate live performances and DJ bookings. In-house catering and a lift to all floors simplify event logistics and accessibility.

Best for: Ticketed concerts and private gigs; artist or album launches; late-night club nights and after-parties.

Location: The town centre area places the venue amid nearby bars and nightlife, providing options for guests to continue the evening after an event.

What guests say: The venue's acoustics and sightlines deliver clear sound and good stage visibility for live shows. The upstairs terrace and multiple bar areas provide separate social zones and places for guests to spread out between sets.
