About this space

The Balcony Bar is a bar in hmv Empire and an elevated, terrace-style bar that overlooks the venue's main performance area.

Design: The Balcony Bar shows an industrial, low-key interior of concrete finishes, metal railings and simple bar-height seating. The space receives abundant natural light and is framed by the venue's exposed marquee fascia.

Features: The Balcony Bar includes a PA system and speakers and permits in-house music or an external DJ. The space provides Wi‑Fi and air conditioning and has a step-free guest entrance, a wheelchair-accessible layout and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a relaxed, music-focused standing reception and a casual, bar-led social gathering.

What guests say: The Balcony Bar has a lively atmosphere and a strong social buzz. The bar operates with friendly staff, though service can slow at peak times.
