About this space

Indoor Area is a shared indoor seating area in the cafe Lovejoy's Tea Room, defined by its vintage tea-room character and an abundance of antiques and bric-a-brac.

Design: The room has pastel-painted walls, layered textiles and mismatched wooden chairs clustered around small tables, lit by low table lamps and soft natural light; the overall scale is compact and intimate.

Features: A mix of small tables, upholstered armchairs and bench seating comes set with teacups and saucers. The space includes Wi‑Fi, air conditioning and a PA/speaker system, and it benefits from natural daylight and a step‑free guest entrance.

Ideal for: Small social groups seeking a relaxed, seated gathering and informal conversation in a domestic-style tea-room setting.

What sets it apart: A built-in bookcase stocked with decorative hats available for guests to try on.

What guests say: The space is cosy and family-friendly. The staff are attentive and helpful.
