About this space

The Common Space offers roughly 650 square feet of usable space with a variety of seating arrangements. Two large wood tables, two smaller white tables, two counters and a lounge area for additional seating.

Space comes with a lite kitchen (Fridge & Sink) that you can use to finish prepping food. We do not allow any onsite cooking. Chafing dishes with sternos are fine. No open flames, no taco carts, no hot plates. No food can go down the sink drain.

Capacity is up to 30 depending on set up and furniture kept in the space.

ACCESS
Your access to the space begins and ends at the time selected on your booking. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation.

CLEANING / DAMAGES
The cleaning fee is included in the hourly rate, although guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition they found it in. Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time into your booking hours. Guests must remove the trash and dispose of it in the provided dumpsters on site.

Please take great care of our space. No nails, screws, staples, or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be billed to the credit card on file. No items are to be put on the mural wall at all.

FURNITURE
Please notify us in advance if you need to move furniture in the space to suit your event needs. We will gladly set up the space as you would like it before your arrival.

MISCELLANEOUS

No open flame or frying allowed on site

Windows can not be opened as they are really old, single pane and break easily. The space is climate controlled by an A/C-Heat unit and you can adjust it as needed.

Space comes with access to two private bathrooms.

FAQ

Are decorations permitted at the venue?

Yes, decorations are permitted, but nails and holes are not allowed in the walls. Nothing may be nailed, taped or placed on the mural wall or the black vinyl roll-down, although non-permanent adhesives that will not damage the walls may be used. Glitter and confetti are not permitted.

How many chairs and benches are available?

The two larger wooden tables have six chairs each, while the two smaller white tables have two chairs and one bench each. Extra chairs are available throughout the space, providing enough seating for 25.

Are instructions provided for using the venue's speaker system?

Yes, instructions are provided. The Bose speaker produces good sound and connects via Bluetooth; there is no microphone PA system, just the speaker.
