Theatre at Woodlawn Theatre
About this space
Woodlawn Theatre is a single-auditorium performance venue with a professional stage and fixed house seating.
Design: The auditorium presents a traditional single-room layout with raked seating, a rear balcony and a broad proscenium opening; the house is darkened and unadorned to focus attention on the stage.
Features: A professional PA system and house speakers support live sound. Stage lighting and wired microphone points are installed for performances. Air conditioning, wheelchair access and a step‑free guest entrance are provided, and the venue allows hosts to use their own music or bring a DJ.
Ideal for: Touring performers and local theatre companies presenting formally staged, seated performances that require professional technical support.
What sets it apart: An upstairs speakeasy bar provides a private, intimate lounge separate from the main auditorium.
What guests say: The upstairs speakeasy is intimate and compact. The auditorium is clean and comfortable and demonstrates solid production quality.
