About this space

This 1880s Renovated Railroad Building is on the National Register of Historic Places. The Pacific Express Stables is located in Downtown Denver’s Ballpark Neighborhood and Landmark District. Between Historic Upscale LoDo and the eclectic RiNo Art’s District and two blocks from Coor’s Field the home of the Colorado Rockies Baseball Team. Concerts, Arts Festivals, Pub Crawls, Octoberfest and a host of exciting neighborhood events make this one of the most loved Denver neighborhoods.

This dynamic neighborhood is also close to Denver’s best hotels and hostels, great restaurants, fun bars, music venues, cultural centers, performing arts, museums & art galleries. Because of its proximity to the ballpark there is easily accessible parking and transportation.

We offer two different venues in the building each with its own look and atmosphere.

The Original Stables for the building features rock walls, wooden plank & beam ceilings, hand carved columns and polished concrete floors. It has two restrooms a small serving kitchen, one large room with antique columns and one open room that was the original carriage house. This rustic space is perfect for more casual or themed events. It has a winery vibe that would work beautifully for parties and events that require a warm, laid back feeling for guests to let loose and have fun.

The Main Floor space has a large open room in the rear that has a ballroom feel. The more polished space has hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, 17 foot plank & beam ceilings, 14’ arched windows, French doors to deck and patio (coming spring 2027). There is a small serving kitchen, two restrooms, three separate areas that could be used for reception or for cocktails & hors d’oeuvres.

A bridal suite and offices for private meetings are located on the top floor and are add-ons to the base fee.

Host rules

• Security deposit and Event Insurance are required for large, high impact events and any event involving alcohol, dancing, or other high risk activity.
• Loud music or noise must end at 10:00 pm as per city noise ordinance.
• Flexible time frames are offered but most events require a minimum booking of three - seven hours depending on date and time of event, if scheduled during prime wedding dates (Friday, Saturday or Sunday...Or from March - October, Holiday party season, New Year’s Eve, St Patrick’s Day, Events at Coor’s Field such as Opening Day and July 4th.
• Events that create excessive cleaning and trash will be charged a cleaning and hauling fee.
• The venue is for private events or targeted guest list events. No for-profit events that sell or serve alcohol in an open-to-the-public business model are allowed.
• No for-profit open-to-the-public food preparation or food service is allowed.
• Time frames include time to set up equipment and break down after event.
