The Windsor Suite at Hilton Reading is the hotel’s main event space, set up to handle everything from weddings and gala dinners to big celebrations and private parties.
It’s around 375m², with the option to split it into two smaller rooms if you need something more contained. That flexibility makes it easy to adjust depending on the size and style of your event.
Capacity-wise, it can take up to 320 for a seated dinner, around 560 for a drinks reception, or 500 theatre-style.
You’ve also got a private foyer, bar, and cloakroom, so the whole space can run as its own self-contained setup. It helps keep things flowing smoothly and gives your event a bit more privacy without extra logistics.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests at Hilton Reading, the following guidelines apply to events hosted within OXBO and our event spaces.
Timings
Access is limited to the agreed hire period, including setup and breakdown.
Extensions must be agreed in advance and may incur additional charges.
Capacity
Guest numbers must not exceed the agreed capacity.
Layouts must be pre-approved and followed on the day.
Food & Beverage
All catering must be provided by the hotel unless agreed otherwise.
Alcohol service is subject to licensing laws.
Decorations
Decorations require prior approval.
Nothing may be fixed to walls or ceilings.
Confetti and glitter are not permitted.
Entertainment & Noise
All entertainment must be approved in advance.
Noise levels must remain within hotel limits.
Damages & Conduct
The organiser is responsible for any damages or guest behaviour.
The hotel reserves the right to end events if necessary.

Yes, entertainment can be facilitated provided performers have documentation available.
Half of the Windsor Suite is best suited. The Windsor Foyer can accommodate exhibition spaces and registration; alternatively, the lobby can be used if separate registration is required.
The space has no natural daylight; daylight is available in the foyer for food and drinks. It has a powerful PA system and strong, adjustable overhead lighting, and extra lighting can potentially be brought in if necessary.
