About this space

Studio Bench Space is a shared bar area in STACK Newcastle characterised by an informal industrial interior.

Design: The interior uses an industrial palette of exposed brick, corrugated metal panels and visible ceiling services. The fit-out pairs dark timber flooring, low ceilings, pendant lighting and flag bunting for a compact, energetic layout.

Features: The space provides communal timber bench seating, barrel-style standing tables and a cleared area that functions as a dancefloor. The space includes Wi‑Fi, air conditioning and a large wall-mounted screen for sports and announcements; accessible toilets and wheelchair access are available.

Ideal for: Friend groups and informal social gatherings that favour a mix of seated and standing socialising with room to dance.

What sets it apart: A small raised stage provides a regular live-music focus and clear sightlines from the seating.

What guests say: The space has a lively atmosphere on busy nights and an interesting industrial design.
