The venue is a beautiful space in the centre of Manchester so close to all public transport, buses trains and trams. The whole floor is available therefore has its independent amenities. The staff were very helpful and flexible. All in all it is an ideal space.
The only comment on negatives is that we used outside catering and they didn’t have access to a fridge

Great venue!! All guests said the venue was great. The layout at Portland Heights was just right. Good service and helpful staff on the night who met our needs. Extend thanks to the reception team also, not forgetting Jacob and Lester for all their help in making this possible. Would definitely hire again. Thank you

Everything. There is nothing I can fault. From the moment I enquired and speaking to Jacob, the level of professionalism was top tier. Jacob was super helpful and always happy to answer questions, going above and beyond to assist with my mums party. My sister went to view the venue and was so pleased with how friendly Jacob was and his willingness to bring our vision to life. On the day of the event Mitch was amazing, very reassuring and friendly and ensured everything ran smoothly. The guests were so pleased and everyone ran seamlessly. The venue itself was gorgeous! The decor was spectacular and everything we asked for was delivered. Cannot have asked for a better experience!

Yes, external DJs are permitted. Haze or smoke machines and naked flames are not allowed, and any DJ speakers must be raised off the ground on stands or poles to comply with noise regulations.
