About this space

Biggies - Roped off area is a semi-private lounge in Brooklyn Bar that provides a sheltered seating zone separated from the main floor while remaining connected to the bar's atmosphere.

Design: The room has exposed brick walls and painted skyline accents, a deep buttoned leather banquette and high stools clustered around small round tables beneath low amber pendants. The space reads compact and urban, with a dark tiled floor and a mix of natural light from the windows and subdued artificial lighting.

Features: The area includes fixed banquette seating, several high tables and a small adjacent dancefloor. The space is served by standalone speakers linked to the venue PA and provides Wi‑Fi, air conditioning and windowed natural light.

Ideal for: Small groups seeking an informal, social standing-and-dancing area where music and conversation share equal space.

What guests say: The space features energetic music and attentive bar staff. The team manages seating when the room gets busy to keep reserved tables clear.

Christmas Party · 20 guests · November 2025

The process of booking and the communication was great with Heather. She was very quick to respond and help.

It was very quiet - at one point we were the only people in there. When I asked for more pizzas at 8:30 because there wasn’t enough individual pizzas I was told the kitchen had closed even though the pizza oven was still on and people were stood in that area. I advised I was happy to pay for the pizzas we just wanted more. No one came in to check on us. Not one Christmas song was played and at multiple times through the evening the music would just stop. It just didn’t feel very festive. I would have expected to hear at least one Christmas song. I didn’t find the staff particularly happy either, I felt everything I asked for was treated more like a chore. Toilets weren’t great - very shabby

Birthday Party · 25 guests · November 2024

The bar itself is really nice. Atmosphere is great, with some great songs played as well. Quite reasonably priced to say other venues cost way more to hire, and the drinks were a reasonable price as well given the location. The bar was clean and we had a great time overall.

Bit misleading when booking. I thought we would of got a bigger space, however the table we got was quite small and I also thought it would have been in a corner, where it could of felt more enclosed off to us. Also, we wanted to put some balloons and celebrations up earlier, but was told that "well it doesn't start till 6" and was asked to put our balloons in a cupboard until then, which one of them popped. But, for the price it was still way worth it, but I just hoped they could of been a little more helpful towards setting up the party.
