Lastly, make sure the place you have chosen fits into your budget.

Choosing the right spot to host your team building event is key! Once you’ve read our Hire Guide and already know what you want to do, you can start searching for the right venue. Remember to start planning and book in advance - the sooner, the better. When looking at your options, consider all the amenities provided at the venue. For example, will you need accommodation? Is catering included? Will you have to rent any additional equipment or is everything available on-site? Once you find a venue that fits all your requirements, double check the reviews and look through the photos to make sure the space matches the vibe you’re going for. Once you’ve created a shortlist of your favourite options, contact the venue managers through the enquiry forms on our website!

When searching for a venue, you can find co-working spaces with offices of all sizes that will have all the on-site facilities needed for successful team bonding. If you’re looking for more relaxed-style venues search for private lounges or outdoor terraces or patios. Multipurpose spaces like workshops or creative studios can also be adjusted to fit your needs. If you want to hold a team building over a meal or drinks, search for restaurants, bars, or pubs.

London is filled with amazing venues where you can host the most fun and unforgettable team building events. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle and perhaps organise an outdoor activity, you should check out venues on the outskirts of London. There are many options to the west of the city! The centre is perfect for easily accessible spots, so it's a good idea especially when the event is short. You'll find plenty of vibrant and exciting options in SohoCamden, and Shoreditch. For an event with a view, you can choose from the plentiful riverside venues in London.

How to Choose the Best Venue for Team Building in London

Not all team building events are created equal and neither are the venues. To find a space that fits your goals, keep these factors in mind:

  • Group size & layout – Flexible, open spaces work best for interactive games, while private dining rooms or themed bars suit smaller teams or casual bonding.
  • Transport access – Choose central venues near Tube stations for day events or consider outer London options for retreats and full-day adventures.
  • Amenities – Look for AV capabilities for presentations, catering options for meals, and entertainment setups like game consoles, sound systems, or breakout rooms.
  • Atmosphere – Want relaxed and low-key? Try a cookery class or wine tasting. Looking for high-energy bonding? Go for escape rooms, sport-based challenges, or live entertainment venues.

Booked The Artist's Loft at Woolly Mammoth spaces (3)
5.0
This is exactly what I was looking for! I worked with Jeremy, who made the experience very easy for us. He was accommodating and attentive throughout the two days we reserved this location. He also provided suggestions for catering, hotels, and activities, which made planning around this event a breeze. We needed a venue for a 2-day educational program and were looking for a quiet place that didn't feel stuffy (like a hotel venue). This place was bright, with a great seating arrangement and a fully equipped kitchen. Our students felt very comfortable in this space, as if we were "in somebody's house," which was exactly the vibe we were going for.

We really enjoyed the karaoke and we'll definitely be keeping the details on file for any future events, I can't say enough good things about Bunga Bunga and the team there!

Booked Bloomsbury at Landmark: 99 Bishopsgate, London
5.0
Booked the Bloomsbury room for 25 with cabaret style layout of tables and chairs. Really enjoyed this venue found it fit our group comfortably with enough space to not feel squashed. Venue has a great lounge area which was great for people to relax in and have occasional breakaway conversations. Facilities are clean and very well maintained, we didn't have any catering but were provided with ample coffee, tea and water. And also pens, notepads, flipcharts and projector. Easy to connect to projector with HDMI. Staff were very friendly and nice and definitely an asset to this venue, requests for additional chairs, temperature adjustment and help setting up laptop were all dealt with very quickly and in a genuinely friendly and supportive manner, thank you very much. Will definitely use the venue again.

Booked Carrington Room at Artwork Classrooms
4.8
Great location - literally a 3 minute walk from LB station and down a nice little alley. The room is very spacious, clean and full of light. We had just enough chairs for about 35 people and Tom was brilliant at communicating. He sorted us out with a hot water urn and went above and beyond to get us a new one when we found it wasn't working. There's a little corner shop round the corner if you forget anything important. Special thanks to Tom for sorting us out and no doubt clearing up our bags of rubbish at the end which we piled up!
