We just celebrated our one year wedding anniversary (which was effectively our wedding reception) at The Victoria. The size of the venue was perfect for the 90-100 people we had in attendance. With the band and DJ in the backroom it meant those who wanted to take a break from dancing could do so at the bar out front.
Sarah, Joe and all their staff were incredible. They answered all our questions, helped us set up and pack down and were just generally lovely to communicate with. Joe was SO helpful on the night.
Our guests were really happy with the service and loved the venue. A lot of our friends are local too so being able to walk or get a short bus ride home was ideal!
This is the perfect cosy venue for any celebration. The sound was great and we didn't need to do anything. You'll be in safe hands with Sarah and Joe. It felt very relaxed, like we were putting on a party at home!

We held our anniversary party at 2 Chesham Hotel Belgravia and it was just wonderful. The hotel manager Selcuk went above and beyond to make our day incredibly special. His communication was excellent and he arranged for our dinner to be held privately in their stunning lounge and terrace, accommodating our photographer to ensure we were able to capture the special day with a backdrop of the stunning hotel. Selcuk couldn’t do enough to ensure everything ran effortlessly and the food was nothing short of exceptional. We cannot thank you enough!

I had booked this venue for my parent's 40th surprise anniversary party. Jessica was super helpful and informative from the start and answered all my queries. The venue space is even lovelier in real life, the furniture and decor are great, all the guests really loved the space, and we had an absolutely lovely time.
We ended up having to extend our event, and Jessica and her partner were really understanding & flexible with our request on the day and we were able to extend for another hour. Thank you so much for letting us book the space!

Booked The Glass Box at Aviary
It was amazing. Starting from the initial planning, the management, the service, venue, thought to the actual event, everything was amazing. Sylvia was great in helping make all the arrangements, no matter how specific they were. I had very specific requirements, particularly with food allergies, but she made sure that they catered to every single need. They made adjustments in case of rain, we had a private dj, and the service provided was 5-star. Everything was served and provided on time, and there were no hidden costs, which I liked. It is pricey, but worth it because the service was too good. Particularly, we had Golam who waited during the event, and honestly he should be awarded waiter of the year! He really looked after the guests and us as hosts, we didn’t have to stress at all. Even small things like getting the cake ready with plates, he took great care and I’ve never experienced such amazing service like that before. He had such a positive attitude and was helpful. A big thank you to Golam.

Fantastic neutral aesthetic venue, well decorated, comes with lighting, disco ball and sound system, the drinks were fantastic, the food careering via connected vendor was top notch. Very flexible to your needs, super friendly and professional manager Sarah. Minimum spend and extras are all fairly priced. Good set up and tear down flexibility. Capacity for 28 was just right, but could squeeze in more if needed. Great covered and heated outdoor area. We had an anniversary party, dinner and dancing, lots of positive feedback from guests, highly recommend.

Booked The Fishing Smack at Boathouse Studios, Barking
Catered for just what we needed. We celebrated a surprise 45th wedding anniversary for my parents. From the beginning the communication was so quick and easy using the tag venue app. Julie and Shadene were amazing from the get go!
Showing the venue, leading up to the day, on the day, all the way to the end. We had a little area to get ready in after setting up everything and saved my life with an iron!!
Parking facility is a plus with lots of spaces. Nisa across the road for any last minute things. Sound on the speaker amazing and had a Bluetooth mic! Cute fairy lights along the unique brick wall of the hall which we did the balloon arch and took pictures.
They offered loads of other things to help for the day and you can just tell them to add or not.

Booked The Gallery at JOAN
We used the Gallery Space and it was stunning. The food was excellent standard (particularly when you consider that they catered for 80). Organisation was pretty good and they tried their best to accommodate any requests - such a dietary requirements and drinks packages. They did all the clear up at the end and it was fantastic that we had the venue all day to set up and until 2:30am.
Another plus is that this venue does not charge for hire and the minimum spend is very reasonable. All in all, I would 100% recommend Joan and would book again in the future.
