About this space

Situated on the second floor above the restaurant at Bar Neon, our newly renovated private dining room offers its own entrance and private washroom. The room is bright and spacious and equipped with a full bar. The private dining room also has its own sound system, above-bar TV and projection screen for any A/V needs. The maximum capacity is 50 for a standing cocktail reception, and can be set up for a seated reception of 20-30 guests.

We have hosted a wide variety of events in the space, including micro-weddings, lots of birthdays, meetings, and private dinners. Our minimum spend starts at $1500 and can be put towards any food or beverages ordered directly from the restaurant. *this can be comprised of the subtotal of everyone's individual bills.

We offer open bar packages, welcome cocktails, customized menus, prix fixe family-style 3-course dinners, a variety of passed appetizers, stationary food, and delicious desserts from our bakery team.

Can guests access the venue to decorate?

Yes, decorating is permitted provided there is no confetti, no balloons containing confetti, and nothing that damages the walls or furniture, such as excessive adhesive or drilling into walls. Access can be provided earlier in the evening for decorating.

Can clients play their own music at the venue?

Yes, the venue has a sound system with a Spotify account, or clients can connect their own equipment using an aux cord, headphone jack or Apple Lightning cable.

Are violinists permitted at the venue?

Yes, violinists are welcome, and events featuring a violinist can be held privately.

Can the space accommodate both seating and standing areas?

Yes, the space has built-in bench seating around the room that cannot be removed, plus perimeter seating, some bar seating and standing space.

Should guests enter through the main entrance?

Yes, the front entrance is suitable. Once the venue is set up, the street door will also be unlocked and signposted so guests can go straight upstairs without entering the main bar.
