Sobu is a boutique content studio in Brisbane, tucked into Bulimba’s Karthina Lane. It’s designed to feel like a curated home, a classic photo studio, and a small event space all in one. The layout flows across downstairs, upstairs, and a private balcony, with consistent natural light and styled sets ready to shoot from the moment you walk in.
You get exclusive access to the whole space during your booking. There’s curated furniture, a private change room, a self-serve podcast or office room, and a kitchenette with a fridge. Air conditioning, a portable speaker, charging stations, and two dedicated car parks right out front are all included, plus extra visitor and street parking nearby.
It runs as a self-serve studio, so you’re free to settle in and work at your own pace. No interruptions, no hovering — just a well-prepared space that supports whatever you’re creating.

Cancellations 30 days in advance will receive a full refund.
Cancellations 30 days to 7 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations for events starting within 7 days are non-refundable.
Event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 1 months from the original date, at no cost.
