About Nottingham Contemporary

Nottingham Contemporary is a Tagvenue Partner. This business has registered with Tagvenue and agreed to our venue partner standards.

Nottingham Contemporary is a leading international art gallery set in the historic Lace Market, right in the heart of Nottingham city centre. Our RIBA award-winning building, designed by Caruso St John, combines a striking concrete interior with a lace-clad exterior inspired by the 19th-century warehouses of the city's famous lace trade.

Spanning over 3,000 square metres, the venue offers a range of spaces to suit events of every size. Choose from our fully equipped performance space, ideal for conferences, awards ceremonies, screenings and parties for up to 360 guests, our airy café bar with an outdoor terrace, or our light-filled meeting room and flexible studio for meetings, workshops and training sessions.

Our in-house team can arrange catering, live music, sound engineers and security, and a private exhibition tour offers your guests something they will not find at any other venue. All spaces are accessible by lift from our main entrance.

As a registered charity, every booking helps support our exhibitions, family activities and community programme.
