Communication was perfect throughout, the space was fully customisable on the day and flexible on our timing and needs. The cafe is well equipped and everyone felt fully attended to. Space was clean and tech worked flawlessly. Also lovely to be able to go outside on a sunny day. The team were wonderful and I can't recommend Melanin Health & Wellness highly enough.
The second break out room is strictly water only which makes it hard to plan snack breaks and use the space to it's full capacity - however this is to maintain the carpet cleanliness which I understand :) other than that, no complaints!

This is a beautifully maintained, light, welcoming space run by super helpful team. The communication before our event was excellent. The team tried hard to answer all our questions. Catering was provided for our event which was delicious. I would happily organise another event at Melanin.
We didn't receive any suggestions of things to improve in terms of the venue - everyone who attended seemed to find it very comfortable.

Just steps from Elephant Park, our vibrant community venue combines design flair with endless possibilities. Whether you’re hosting a meeting, workshop, or team escape, our flexible ground-floor space adapts to bring your vision to life.

The venue features:
- Versatile event space: A spacious, adaptable floor plan that can be split into two zones, the Café and the Lounge, each comfortably accommodating up to 40 guests.
- Dedicated small recording/editing studio: Perfect for podcasts, voiceovers, or creative projects. We have a diverse range of equipment, as well access to engineers, which you can hire in addition to the studio booking rate.
- Tech-ready setup: WiFi, a large flat-screen wall monitor, projector, and surround sound system, all included to support presentations, screenings, or hybrid meetings.

Availability:
- Monday to Saturday, 9am–10pm.
- Sunday bookings available on request.

Whether you’re planning a product launch, community meet-up, workshop, or creative event, our venue provides a welcoming and professional environment in one of London’s most central neighbourhoods.

For each hire we require:
- Signed MHW Terms & Conditions
- Completed risk assessment
- Copy of current Public Liability Insurance (PLI) or signed legal waiver (if applicable)
- £200 Damage deposit (refundable subject to our standard conditions of hire)

*All required documentation, including a separate invoice for the deposit and any additional hire fees (such as catering or equipment), will be sent from info@melaninhealthwellness.org once we receive your email address and the necessary details. As we operate as a public café and must comply with strict food hygiene and safety standards, a self-catering fee applies if you choose to bring your own catering. This helps maintain our standards and cover additional cleaning. All profits from venue hire are reinvested into projects delivered by our CIC for the benefit of our local community.
