We had my husband's 50th party at Vega. We had around 40 guests, some with children (they were allowed to stay till 9pm). So we opted for bowling for children. We also had catering with Vega which received really great reviews from all the guests. I brought crisps, juices, water and sweets for the kids - that was allowed- and we set up a separate table for them. We had the party in the reserved area but still within the main hall. The space was absolutely amazing, we could organise the tables any way we wanted. I also brought some cupcakes, helium balloons and some other table decorations. As the party was on Saturday there was a DJ. Music wasn't too loud but still we could enjoy it. Everyone really enjoyed the party, and all the guests were very complimentary of the venue. I must say a separate thank you to Suzi, with whom I communicated all the time and who helped me a lot! Nothing was ever a bother, she responded really quickly and I did feel that she went the extra mile. She has such a positive and can-do attitude that made the whole organisation so much easier. Overall I would highly recommend Vega for any party really!
The only slightly negative feedback I would say would be around bar staff.. we did have a lot of guests which meant loads of glasses/empty packets from sweets and crisps from the kids. I had to ask the bar staff to come and collect the empty glasses and rubbish on a couple of occasions. But I can also appreciate how busy they were. So I wouldn't say it really effected the overall experience and the atmosphere.

The central view room was perfect. Really lovely event space and very helpful staff! Lots of clear, fast communication on the run up to the party. I thought it was really good that under 18’s were allowed till midnight in the room. The bowling was great fun and made for a really unique night. Everyone commented on what a good venue/night we had. Highly recommend
Bar was severely under staffed which was the only negative. Only 2 people serving (I felt for them!) at the start of the night and the venue was busy with a couple big birthday parties booked in. Very long wait to get served which was frustrating but important to add we still had a superb night
