I liked the venue although needs some makeover (for example, some sofas on the terrace were ripped and stained).
I didn’t like the lack of communication between the manager and other staff members as they kept telling me different things. I was notified that I could have my party only until 22.30 just a month before the actual date but I had been in touch with them for a couple of months before already. This caused me a lot of stress and left me with no choice really.

The atmosphere was great, the drinks reception had fantastic varieties of alcohol-free mocktails - something very much appreciated as non-drinkers weren't just forced to drink water and coke. The buffet was fantastic and with plenty of options for everyone to enjoy. We hosted well over 100 people in the club room, and while it was quite busy, it wasn't uncomfortably full!
Unfortunately there seemed to be a break-down in the communication chain somewhere, as the Cambridge venue informed me that they weren't able to supply the buffet at the time agreed, so we had dinner a bit later than planned. The guests didn't seem to mind though as there were plenty of drinks around to hold them over!
