Space features
Upstairs is a lounge in Key and Cleaver, a semi-private upper-level space defined by flexible lounge seating and abundant natural light.
Design: The room uses a simple palette of white walls and warm wood floors, counterbalanced by mid-century–style armchairs in muted green and mustard. The ceiling is fitted with large printed panels and the room includes tall potted plants that add vertical interest.
Features: The space has its own air conditioning and an integrated PA/speaker system for background music or announcements. The seating combines a long counter with bar stools and clustered lounge chairs that can be rearranged to suit different layouts. The upstairs area is bookable for private use and receives direct table service only when reserved.
Ideal for: Small, social groups looking for a relaxed, lounge-style setting that supports both seated conversation and informal standing reception.
What sets it apart: The upstairs room features a banquet-style layout that provides a direct view of the historic Silverado Ballroom.
What guests say: The upstairs space has a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere and attentive, personable staff.
