Solar Studios is a backlot of creative choices. The vintage red and white brick walls, five arched windows that can be blacked out, and wooden bow-truss ceiling make this the original LA super boutique studio.
With at least three different SoHo loft looks, a second floor loft and an annex insert studio and 24/7 availability, Solar offers a nice variety of shooting options.
Solar Studios is the perfect location for any motion or still project, special engagements, and private events. From independent short films, viral videos, to major ad campaigns - nearly anything is possible.

About Solar Studios
Regarding the pricing.
depending on the activity being a
small video shoot to a larger commercial shoot, or an event, 15- 30 people versus 100-200 people, the hours, the lead time, all go this will have to be consider, to determine the right pricing for each client on a specific basis based on the above.
Having a live conversation and hopefully a site visit , typically is necessary to determine this. The price can range from $1,000.00 to $6,000.00
Regarding alcohol you can have it Beyond 8 PM but you cannot sell alcohol and cannot serve alcohol to minors. You can bring your own catering a music in DJs DB need to be around 75 however.
You may also need to purchase liability insurance. I have an app for that, I don't believe tag venue provides for that , it typically cost $109.00
We are Located two miles east of the Hollywood sign, Solar Studios is a fully permitted stage location with a parking garage, also , and abundance of safe free available street parking, plus we a few loading areas , 19-foot ceilings and a multi production office with multiple talent areas, 20 tons of heat air conditioning and 800 AMPS of power.
Built in the 1930s, Solar has kept the building’s original polished architecture intact. The team of exceptional artisans, craftsmen and designers created a modern boutique location with a European flavor.
Solar is a 5000 sq. ft. facility, comprised of at least three different loft looks inside, half has modern looks vibes fro 2019. The studio includes many amenities like: three hair/make-up bays, fully functional kitchen, showers and possible rooftop access.
